Hello, my name is Kim and I am the founder of Joy Paws Hotel and Day Care for Dogs. I have over 20 years’ experience in the hotel and Weddings industry, particularly for high profile events, providing very high standards of customer service, attention to detail and ensuring I delivered the experience that my clients had dreamt of.

I am a very active, outdoor person and have been around and had a huge love and passion for animals all my life, I have had my own horses and competed to high levels in eventing, I have always had dogs and I simply just understand them, I adore them and the love and loyalty they give.

So putting my experience in the hotel and Wedding industry together with my knowledge and experience with dogs, I came up with providing a hotel and day care for dogs.

After all, your dog is very much a part of the family, your best friend and something very close to your heart, so much so, that you worry about going away or working away and leaving them. This is why I want to put you at ease with providing the same high service levels as I am used to previously with humans to our hotel and day dog guests, ensuring that they will be looked after, cared for and treated just like they are our own or as if they are on their own holiday.

Each dog will have their own area in our large property, with the owner’s consent, they can sleep on sofas or dog beds, which ever they are used to at home. We have a large, secure garden with some fun stimulation games in and the most perfect location for plenty of walks and adventures with two parks just across the road, a very short walk to the beach, woods, hills and fields, the list is endless depending on your dog’s needs.

Photo and video updates can be sent for peace of mind knowing that they are happy, ensuring you can focus on your work or enjoy your holiday or trip away.

We are fully insured, licenced with North Somerset Council, Canine First Aid trained and come with a wealth of experience with dogs and animals.
